What a contribution is

Propeller Suites is a for-profit business. A contribution to this campaign is a commercial purchase of executive support services at a stated price, together with support for the physical build-out of the business.

Choosing your own amount rather than a package works differently. It is support for the physical build-out and nothing is sold in return — no package, no Propel Tokens and no support hours. It carries an invitation to the grand opening, and that invitation is the only thing it carries.

It is not a donation and not a charitable contribution, whether you take a package or contribute your own amount. Contributions are not tax-deductible. Nothing on this site should be read as advice that they are; if you intend to treat a contribution as a business expense, take that question to your own accountant.

A contribution does not purchase equity, debt, revenue share, or any other financial interest in Propeller Suites.

What you receive

Each package states what is delivered and over what period. Those statements are the agreement. Where a package specifies a number of sessions, assignments or hours per month, that is the commitment. Where a package states a limited number of slots, that number is a cap on how many are sold.

Services are delivered Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET. Work requested outside those hours may carry an additional fee, agreed with you in advance rather than billed afterwards.

Notary tokens cover the standard NYC notary and non-notarial service fees for one document — administrative and processing, printing, and travel or mobile service. Additional documents and after-hours service are billed separately.

Unless a package states otherwise, service delivery begins within ten business days of your payment clearing. Multi-month packages run consecutively from that start date.

Changing your package

Packages are tailored. If a service in yours turns out not to be the right fit, it can be swapped for another — write to us and the package is rebuilt around what you actually need.

Swapping a service does not change the price of the package or extend the period it runs for.

Refunds

All contributions are final.

A contribution buys services rather than goods, and delivery begins straight away. There is no refund window. If your package is not serving you, email info.psuites@gmail.com from the address you contributed with and we will explore ways to alter it — the swap described in the section above is the remedy here, and it is a real one.

Where a refund is nevertheless issued at our discretion, or a payment is reversed by PayPal, the campaign total on this site corrects itself automatically to reflect it.

If the goal is not reached

Contributions are captured as they are made rather than held pending a target. The services you purchased are delivered regardless of the total raised, and the build-out proceeds at the scale the funding supports.

Payment

Payments are processed by PayPal into the business's own PayPal account. This site does not see, transmit or store card numbers or any other payment instrument.

The amount charged is always the amount resolved by our server from the published package prices — multiplied by the quantity you chose, where a package may be taken more than once — or from the custom amount you entered within the stated limits.

Fees and shipping

Two amounts may be added to your contribution at checkout. Both are shown as separate lines in your total, with the figure you will be charged, before you are handed to PayPal.

A processing fee covers what the payment processor deducts from the transaction, so that the full contribution amount reaches the build-out rather than being reduced by the cost of taking the payment. It is calculated from the processor's published rate on the total being charged, and it applies to every order, including a custom amount.

Shipping is a flat $4.99 per order on packages that include something posted to you, however many you take in that order. Only the Essentials pack includes something posted. Where a package can instead be collected at the grand opening, choosing collection removes the shipping charge.

Neither the shipping charge nor the processing fee is part of your contribution. Neither counts toward the campaign total shown on this site, and the progress bar reflects contributions alone.
